My name is Grant Stringer. I am a wedding and portrait photographer working in North Devon and the surrounding areas.

North Devon has a really cool art scene going on. There are lots of artists and art galleries in the area.Why not check out the local art galleries if you make a visit.

I have tried to include some information about the locations of photographs as I would like to promote North Devon as a wonderful place to visit.

Ilfracombe is a Victorian seaside resort in North Devon and, therefore, has many Victorian houses and Hotels.

In the older part of town (dating back to the 14th century ) there is a working harbour and moorings for visiting vessels.

Ilfracombe is a perfect place for a family holiday. There is a large variety of holiday accommodation including hotels and self-catering options. Ilfracombe also has a dedicated holiday park. (Located near Ilfracombe college).

Ilfracombe is a good starting point to explore North Devon. It is close to beautiful beaches, the majestic landscape of Exmoor National park and ,for those who enjoy walking, the cliff path which winds its way from Cornwall, through Devon and on into Somerset.

Ilfracombe and the surrounding areas also offer opportunities in recreational sports and activities including walking,pony riding. water sports, running, go-carting , bowling, football etc.

Ilfracombe also has some good art galleries and art exhibitions which showcase art work from local artists.

Woolacombe bay has a most beautiful beach with golden sands and features in the list of the world?s top beaches. The beach is a mecca for surfers and water sports enthusiasts. There is good surf all year round and in the summer the beach plays host to holiday-makers and sun-worshipers.

Woolacombe also has some good art galleries and art exibitions which showcase art work from local artists.

In and around the town there are a number of hotels, apartments and cottages that are available on full -board and self -catering.
